Terms & Conditions
The Terms & Conditions set out below along with those written in your quotation letter are the terms upon which treatment will be provided to you in Dr Kirmizis's Nephrology Clinic at the Oaks hospital (Ramsay). Please read them carefully and raise any questions you may have before you sign the quotation letter agreeing to be bound by these terms.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Updated terms will only apply to new episodes of care and your terms will remain unchanged if you are part way through an episode of care.
As Dr Kirmizis is not employed by Ramsay, these terms are in addition to any terms & conditions set out by Ramsay. If you are unsure about how your agreement works, please ask.

The following sections set out the Terms and Conditions that apply if you are funding your own treatment. Please refer to the section that applies to you.
Private Medical Insurance
If you have private medical insurance, please contact your insurer before your consultation, to check the terms of your policy, particularly the level and type of outpatient cover you have, including any reimbursement limits on individual consultation fees.

​Please note you are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurer.
Self Pay – Outpatient appointments and treatment
The cost of your initial outpatient consultation will not be included in any package provided by Ramsay. The fees associated with Dr Kirmizis's consultation are shown on the home page of Dr Kirmizis's Clinic website.
Before an appointment in Dr Kirmizis's Clinic can be booked, you will be required to pay the fee in advance via Dr Kirmizis's Clinic website.

In addition to the fee for your consultation, there will be a fee payable to the Hospital for any diagnostic tests or treatment carried out during or following your consultation. Please ensure you are aware of the fees involved in advance and if you are not sure, please ask your consultant or staff at the Hospital.

Please note that Dr Kirmizis will invoice for their care separately. Should you require the services of another consultant during your pathway, you will be also be invoiced for their services separately.

Financial interests
I confirm I do not have any financial interests in the the Oaks hospital at Colchester or any equipment there.
Quality Information
You can compare independent information about the quality of private treatment offered at the hospital and other private healthcare providers from the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) website: www.phin.org.uk.
Recording and broadcasting
Any kind of digital recording during face-to-face or remote Clinics is unlawfull and strictly forbidden, unless Dr Kirmizis has consented to it. Any recording requests should be made at the beginning of the appointment.
